It's Hard to Speak, It's Hard to Hear
2023 · - · 8m -
A woman builds a set and sings the song "Baby" by Gal Costa. The performance is recorded on a VHS tape, and the footage is later rearranged and juxtaposed with other images. Through a hypnotic audiovisual sequence, the performer's relationship with memory and cultural identity is laid out on-screen.
