La peste, la plus grande épidémie de tous les temps ?

The plague decimated Europe, upending the social order. In the Americas, diseases introduced after 1492 led to the mass extinction of indigenous populations. Simple pathogens have sometimes had a greater impact on history than humans themselves. What does the next pandemic have in store for us, and will we be better prepared to deal with it?
