Armed Lovers

Upon his release from prison, Gio reunites with his Toni. The two petty thieves want to turn their lives around: she proposes one last heist, while he dreams of making a movie. As Gio recounts the screenplay for *Amanti a mano armata* (Armed Lovers)—which he wrote while incarcerated—reality blurs with fiction. That drab, black-and-white day transforms into a color film with a noir vibe, starring none other than Toni and Gio themselves! What will the "armed lovers" choose: Toni’s heist or Gio’s movie?
