Biography
Matthew Paul Everitt is a writer and director based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His film You Can Go Home Whenever You Want was developed with the Sundance Institute and won Best Dramatic Short Film at the 2024 Cindependent Film Festival and the Programmers’ Choice Award at the 2024 Hell’s Half Mile Film Festival. His long form essay “ATOMIC CINEMA: How the Magic of Film Led to the Making of the Bomb” was published in Souvenir Magazine in November 2025. His wife, Taylor Everitt, is the co-founder of their production company, Snowy in August.
