Biography
Francis Welch is a British documentary director, producer and writer with more than twenty years of experience in factual television. A history graduate, he has worked across arts, history, music, sport and observational documentary programming for major British and international broadcasters. His credits include Fake or Fortune?, Who Do You Think You Are?, Timeshift, Empire with David Olusoga and Union with David Olusoga. He has also directed prominent presenters including Fiona Bruce and David Attenborough.
