VFXJOSH

VFXJOSH (Joshua Holly) is an award-winning filmmaker, director, and visual effects artist whose career spans film, television, commercials, and music. His work has included projects connected with major entertainment companies including Disney, Marvel, Warner Bros., Legendary Pictures, and The Mill/Technicolor, as well as work involving recording artists including Kanye West, Swae Lee, and DJ Khaled, and television productions including The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Beginning his filmmaking journey in South Central Los Angeles, VFXJOSH developed his career through visual effects before expanding into directing, writing, producing, and independent filmmaking. His background includes work across large-scale studio entertainment and effects-driven productions, experience he now brings to original cinematic projects through VFXJOSH Studios.

As a director, VFXJOSH is known for ambitious visual storytelling, particularly within science fiction, fantasy, and action. His short film ENDWORLD earned the Audience Award at the Hawaii Filmmakers Collective’s 10th Annual 48 Hour Film Challenge.
