A young pianist named Gu Yang, whose dreams of attending Julliard are shattered by his family's financial troubles, joins a music agency as an idol trainee. Lacking pop music experience, he starts in a backup group but forms bonds with skilled dancer Zhao Zhengnan and talented singer Lu Xinghao.
