Biography
Tom Silva is an American general contractor and television personality best known for This Old House and Ask This Old House. He has been a member of the This Old House team since 1986, sharing his expertise in construction, renovation, and woodworking. Silva is also co-owner of Silva Brothers Construction, a Boston-area contracting company, and has become one of the program’s longest-serving and most recognizable experts.
