Satura Albani

I am a student at Padjadjaran University, majoring in Television and Film. I see film as a way to tell stories about things close to life. My interest in directing grew out of a desire to convey the experiences and realities around me through visuals. In my work, I often choose themes that are relevant and somewhat unique, such as human relationships, time, emotions, and social issues that we encounter in our daily lives. I prefer an honest and straightforward approach so that the stories I tell feel more relatable to the audience.

To me, filmmaking is a collaborative effort. I’m open to ideas and input from other team members since I believe great results come from a supportive collaboration. My style leans toward visuals that aren’t overly elaborate, yet still aim to be strong in atmosphere and emotion. I want the audience to not only see the story but also feel and reflect on it long after the film ends.

So far, I have directed two films: Not a Perfect Life (2025) and Delivery (2026).
