Kathaya Chongprasith

Kathaya Chongprasith, known professionally as Claire SoftSweet or simply Claire, is a Thai actress, violinist, multi-instrumentalist, and content creator. She made her feature film debut as Namwaan in Dream! (2025), the English-language Thai musical film directed by Paul Spurrier. As the spoiled yet emotionally complex Namwaan, Claire received praise from critics for bringing both humor and humanity to the role. In its review of Dream!, ForReel described her performance as "fantastic," noting that she played the character with "hilarious and insanely watchable perfection" while also revealing a deeper sadness and vulnerability beneath the surface.

Outside of acting, Claire is an accomplished violinist who has performed as both a soloist and ensemble musician in Thailand and internationally. Through her YouTube channel, Claire SoftSweet, she shares violin performances, musical projects, and videos documenting her musical journey. Her violin progress video gained international attention when it was featured and reacted to by the popular classical music creators TwoSet Violin, introducing her work to a wider audience of classical music enthusiasts.
